  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 3/4 cup full-fat milk
  • 1 tablespoon regular flour
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup grated gruyère cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated fontina cheese
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Boil a pot of salted water and cook the gnocchi until they float (about 2-3 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the garlic for about 30 seconds. Whisk in the flour until smooth, then gradually add the milk while whisking until smooth. Stir in mustard, gruyère, fontina, salt, and white pepper until melted.
  3. Combine cooked gnocchi with cheese sauce in a large bowl. Transfer to a greased baking dish and top with parmesan.
