  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup dry white grape juice or chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons capers, rinsed and drained
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter and 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat until the butter melts.
  2. Add 2 minced garlic cloves and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in 1/4 cup of dry white grape juice or chicken broth; stir and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Mix in 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of rinsed capers, and 1 teaspoon of lemon zest. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. Cook for another 1–2 minutes, then remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley if desired.
  6. Serve warm over your favorite proteins or veggies.
