  • 3 cups peeled and sliced apples
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • For the crumble topping: 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a springform pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  3. Gradually incorporate flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and fold in the sliced apples.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan and spread mascarpone on top. Layer the remaining batter over it.
  5. Prepare the crumble by mixing oats, flour, brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon in another bowl. Sprinkle it over the torta.
  6. Bake for about 75 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
