  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 jalapeno, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 14 1/2 ounces diced tomatoes
  • 3 ounces tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 cup bone broth
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onions, celery, and bell pepper; sauté until tender.
  3. Stir in jalapeno and garlic; cook for about one minute.
  4. Mix in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper; let spices cook for another 30 seconds.
  5. Add diced tomatoes and tomato paste; stir well.
  6. Pour in bone broth; bring to a simmer and cook uncovered for about 20 minutes.
