  • 2 tablespoons gingerbread syrup
  • ¼ cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • ¼ cup heavy cream (or coconut cream)
  • ¾ cup water
  • ⅔ cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons molasses
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Prepare the gingerbread syrup by combining water, sugar, molasses, ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a saucepan. Bring to a boil while stirring until sugar dissolves. Let cool.
