Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ cups heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter version)
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 packs ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ½ cup sliced green onions
  • ½ cup shredded carrots (optional, for crunch)
  • 1 soft-boiled egg, halved (for topping)
  • Sesame seeds & nori strips for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, smoked paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. Toss in your sliced chicken and let it marinate for about 10 minutes while you prepare the sauce.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken for about 5-6 minutes until it turns golden brown and is fully cooked through.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Next, pour in heavy cream and chicken broth while stirring constantly. Add salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes; let simmer until slightly thickened.
  4. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese into your creamy mixture until it’s nice and smooth.
  5. Bring a pot of water to boil and cook ramen noodles according to package instructions. Once they're done, drain them well and toss them with sesame oil to prevent sticking.
  6. Divide cooked ramen noodles among serving bowls. Spoon that creamy garlic sauce generously over each bowl of noodles before topping with fiery chicken strips. Finish off with green onions, shredded carrots if you're using them, and half of a soft-boiled egg.
  7. Sprinkle sesame seeds and nori strips as garnishes before serving immediately.
