  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 can (28 oz) whole peeled tomatoes
  • 1 ½ cups chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 10 oz ravioli
  • Fresh basil, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add onion, celery, and garlic; sauté until softened.
  2. Stir in peeled tomatoes and brown sugar; pour in chicken broth. Bring to a gentle boil, then simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Blend the soup until smooth using an immersion blender.
  4. Return the soup to the pot; stir in heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add ravioli and cook until they float to the top.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.
