  • For the Cream Cheese Filling: 1 large egg, 4 ounces softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the bread ingredients until well combined. Gently fold in the dry ingredients.
  3. Pour two-thirds of the batter into the prepared pan.
  4. In another bowl, mix the cream cheese filling ingredients until smooth and pour over the batter.
  5. Spoon the remaining batter on top and bake for about 48 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow cooling in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
