  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 1/4 tsp coarse salt
  • 1 2/3 cup warm water
  • Pear, pearl onions, cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced red onion
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs
  • Coarse salt
  • Plenty of olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together flour, yeast, and salt. Gradually add warm water until combined. Stir until shaggy.
  2. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rise on the counter overnight.
  3. The next day, drizzle olive oil into a casserole dish. Transfer the risen dough into the dish and spread it out gently. Dimple the surface and drizzle more olive oil on top.
  4. Let it rest for another two hours before preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Decorate the dough using rosemary for branches and sliced veggies for ornaments.
  6. Sprinkle with coarse salt before baking for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before slicing.
