  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta, Parmesan, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and half of the basil.
  4. Cut pockets in each chicken breast and stuff generously with the ricotta mixture.
  5. Arrange the stuffed chicken in the baking dish and pour marinara sauce over them.
  6. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and drizzle balsamic vinegar if desired.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes until cooked through and juices run clear.
  8. Let it rest for five minutes before serving and garnish with remaining basil.
