  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if desired).
  2. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and marinate in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  4. Lightly spray air fryer basket with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
  5. Coat marinated chicken pieces in cornstarch until well-coated.
  6. Place the chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  7. Cook at 380°F (193°C) for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Check that internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) before serving.
